Joe Zucco, PT, DPT, FAAOMPT, is the clinical director of Flexeon Rehabilitation of Oak Lawn. Joe graduated from the University of Missouri-Colombia with a Bachelor of Health Science and a Master of Physical Therapy. Originally from Sullivan, MO, Joe has been practicing physical therapy for 10 years and specializes in orthopedic manual physical therapy. Joe had a life-changing experience that introduced him to his current profession. As a teenager, he had a sustained ACL tear while playing basketball. After surgery and four months of intense rehab, he recovered quickly. This experience guided him into the physical therapy career. Joe enjoys playing basketball, spending time with family and friends, reading and traveling. Joe is working towards a dual-citizenship as an Italian.

Ellen Welter is a physical therapist at Flexeon Rehabilitation of Oak Lawn. Ellen received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and minor in Biology from Truman State University. She received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Iowa. She’s been practicing physical therapy for one year. Ellen played soccer throughout high school and had several injuries one including tearing her ACL. She attended physical therapy on and off for a few years to treat her injuries. She realized it combined several areas of interest for me: helping people, sports and health care. Originally from Iowa, in her spare time she enjoys running, playing soccer, spending time with her daughter, friends and family.
