Lauren Mansell is a staff therapist at Flexeon Rehabilitation of Frankfort. Lauren is a licensed EMT and a certified yoga instructor. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology from Northwestern University. She has a Doctorate from Governors State University. With an interest in Women’s Health Physical Therapy, she will be completing her Women’s Health Certification Specialization (WCS) in 2013 and starting a Hippotherapy Program for Easter Seals. Prior to physical therapy, Ellen was a mental health therapist at Erikson Institute. In her spare time, she likes to work on her parents’ horse farm and do volunteer medical travel. She was a volunteer firefighter for seven years, but resigned in order to put more energy into physical therapy. “I would want my patients to know I feel they are in control of their treatment and therapy (and ultimately their health) and that I always feel honored to be a part of their journeys,” says Laura.
