Leadership

Craig Mawdsley is the Clinical Director for Flexeon’s Chicago Locations. He has completed his residency and fellowship training in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy and has been named a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists. Craig received a degree in Bachelor of Science from Augustana in 2000, MS in Physical Therapy from Midwestern University in 2002 as well as a DPT from Ola Grimsby Institute in 2006. With 9 years of experience in practicing physical therapy, Craig specializes in orthopedic manual physical therapy for the spine and extremities. Craig enjoys spending time with family and friends, exercising regularly, studying the science of food and running. He recently ran the 2012 Walt Disney World Half Marathon.

 

Ellen Welter is a physical therapist at Flexeon Rehabilitation of Chicago (West Loop). Ellen received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and minor in Biology from Truman State University. She received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Iowa. She’s been practicing physical therapy for one year. Ellen played soccer throughout high school and had several injuries one including tearing her ACL. She attended physical therapy on and off for a few years to treat her injuries. She realized it combined several areas of interest for me: helping people, sports and health care. Originally from Iowa, in her spare time she enjoys running, playing soccer, spending time with her daughter, friends and family.
